The following video represents an edited segment from a greater project related to children of artists that is currently under development.
What was it like to grow up in a household where everyday life was lived as an art form?
Now 97 years old, celebrated artist Dahlov Ipcar recalls the stages of creative growth under her parents, William and Marguerite Zorach whose combined talent paved the way for an upheaval in New York City's art world that came to be known as Modernism; their works included watercolors, oils, embroideries and hooked rugs, murals, set design, bronze sculpture as well as direct carving in wood and stone.
