Filmed on Greenwood Management's forestry investment sites located in Brazil, this video shows a selection of aeriel shots taken on the Fazenda Santa Maria forestry investment project site, located in the state of Bahia, Brazil. Fazenda Santa Maria I & II were two of the first forestry investment sites to be acquired by Greenwood Management in Brazil in late 2008/2009 and the first site to finished. When the information on the audits has been gathered, completed and delivered to us, it will also be available for suitable investors to see.
Each forestry investment project is divided into smaller sections, each with its own unique "FSPU" number, so Greenwood Management can plant the sites for more effective and controlled management, giving the Greenwood team a much better handle on the plantation site as a whole. After each site has its own name and is ready for planting, planting is then arranged and started as soon as seedlings are ready.
The fresh food farm crops that are grown in between crop lines, are sold in the local markets of Bahia, generating extra revenue for the company.
As of today, Greenwood Management owns an approximate 5,000 hectares of land and are looking to expand this area over with plans to obtain a further area of around 3,000 hectares. With another 20,000 hectares (approximately) also being managed and operated by Greenwood Management, the company has grown to become one of the largest forest operators in the region. The company is expanding aggressively and will continue to work towards becoming the largest forestry operator in the region.
Greenwood Management have visitor centers and management offices in Brazil & Canada but they also have several regional offices in Europe that include locations such as Palma de Mallorca, Milan, Denmark and Porto.
