Worship is not something we do on Sunday only. It’s not a genre of music. Worship is why we were created. Worship creates life. Worship should be a lifestyle. It should be natural. Worship is what we do everyday, at the beginning, through out the day, and at the end of the day.
Worship is not about a certain style of music but an issue of the heart. Whether it is a hymn, a chorus, or a modern worship song, worship is all about our heart responding to God's. When we worship, it will rebuke the enemy. Satan hates it when we worship. He knows what it does in our life. It also refreshes the weary. Worship will strengthen the weak and worn. It brings hope to the downcast and depressed.
It also renews vision. Life gets a little blurred and it’s easy to lose our way. But worship renews our vision and helps us recalibrate and run the race that God has called us to.
