Masbia is no ordinary soup kitchen. Upon entering this eatery, there are no bread lines in sight nor communal folding tables and chairs. Instead, a host will immediately greet and show you to a table. Moments later, a friendly volunteer waitstaff serves you a hot, nutritious kosher meal along with a fresh salad and beverage. The only difference between Masbia and other New York restaurants is that there is no tab to pick up, or tip to pay at the end of the dining experience.
