The Maunsell seaforts were built in the Thames estuary between Southend-on-sea, Essex and Whistable, Kent during the Second World War to help protect the UK. Designed by Guy Maunsell, there were orignally several sets of forts but only one set remains accessible to the public - Red Sands.
A few clips I shot while visiting Red Sands in January 2014.
