When the bodies of two emaciated animals--a Siberian Husky and a kitten--were found with their mouths taped shut in a Calgary, Alberta alleyway, Calgarians came together to draw the line. It's time for Canada to change its ineffective, century-old Animal Cruelty legislation to something *meaningful.* We're also calling for a national registry of those convicted of Cruelty to Animals, to help prevent them from being allowed to own and abuse animals again.
