After buying this Tamron lens used, I decided to give it a test run from on top of the gorgeous Mt. Washington of Pittsburgh. I wanted to see how this glass would handle a completely open aperture at the widest focal length (and basically just get my hands on the lens period with an amazing day!)
This was shot on a Nikon D90 (aps-c) RAW
@28mm (42mm @35mm equivalent)
1/4000 f/2.8 ISO 200
This was shot with a :10 interval for about half an hour and processed at 15fps.
Overall the glass is VERY crisp, especially for being used! At 100% I found no issues with the sharp focus on the parking meter. The bokehs from the buildings are a very appealing look. I'm excited to get shooting with this glass more!
