After reaching the new government with Mehdi Jomaa as its prime minister Tunisians seem to be eager for the new changes they aspire for in the horizon. However, the opposition is giving its best at criticizing Jomaa’s government putting Tunisians at cross roads for their views towards this government.
Tunisian Prime Minister
We hope that his government with the same way it got the trust of the deputies to get the trust of the Tunisians. This government had already put forward all the team yesterday. It is aware of the big challenges and big problems, however, along with your support, you, the big doers in this hall, and the support of all Tunisians hopefully we can and we are able to.
Eventhough this government got the approval of the deputies of the National Constituent Assembly, there is still some opposition coming from the popular front criticizing certain ministers in the new cabinet.
Head of the Populaire Front
The popular front has certain reservations concerning this government and its composition, because the roadmap is supposed to be a white plain paper. In other words, a government of independent technocrats.
Along with all the criticism of the opposition, tunisians seem to hold still some hope for the new government wit all the changes in the future. Aiming at receiving better solutions for the economic, social and political obstacles the country is facing today.
We expect all the best from this government and like all the Tunisians we expect improvements on different levels.
The day the new constitution passed on the 27th of January marks the beginning of a new era towards the long awaited democracy. The era of the second republic of Tunisia has started with a lot of hope among the Tunisian citizens.
Will the new Jomaa government succeed wit all the economic and political challenges facing it? And will it bring about the political stability Tunisians are looking for?
