We chose to spend our first out-of-France trip in Switzerland because my friends wanted to experience snow for the first time. Ate Moca so generously offered to take us for a day trip to La Givrine, where we saw the most beautiful and pristine snow capped mountains. It felt like Christmas. Of course being the kids that we are we rented sleds, made snow angels, and attempted to make snowmen along with the other five year olds. Haha! I had the best time surrounded by such beauty. The adrenaline rush from sledding wasn't half bad either. It was on the train ride home from this mountain that I realized I needed to come back to this place. There really is such a lot of world to see!
PS. During the first few tries, we were actually sledding with the wrong slide up (and kept on falling off!). Thankfully a French mother was kind enough to tell us that we were doing it wrong and flipped it over. Haha! What cooks we must have looked.
