A test shoot of some ice melting using my Panasonic Lumix TZ15 (TZ5 in the US) camera and a home made shutter release device. I think this is original because the TZ5 does not have any inbuilt time lapse functions built in, nor can I find any official Panasonic equipment that will do the job for this particular camera.
Each exposure is 8 seconds apart (randomly chosen) and the final video was created at 24p. I had the Lumix in Auto mode because I couldn't get the manual mode to take decent exposures. If I could have used the manual mode properly I'm sure there would be a lot less flickering in the video. It didn't help that I turned my PC off just after starting as the light from the monitor seemed to brighten the image a fair amount..
I hope to have some decent time lapse shots up of some sunsets and the like as soon as the weather clears up here on the east coast of Australia!!!
