My realtime tank rig, even in hi res mode. Treads run off a single standard maya node, no need for the imensity of a spline IK system here. No expressions either, so this runs as you animate, not just in playback like expression based systems. It is also free from any naming issues that can occur when you use multiple rigs in a scene. It has built-in collision with ground and object surfaces and a variety of speed and animation friendly enhancements.
