The weight of our future lies on how we choose to remember our past.
We built a bridge in memory of a roommate, best friend, co-worker, cousin, daughter, and my sister. On Superbowl Sunday, 2013, Heaven gained two angels, Sam and Tiffany. With our eyes on our God, He has continued to carry us through the valley, into victory! If there is anything our family could say about this first year without them, it's that He has proven better, more faithful, more merciful, and always greater than our trials and pain.
Our past can be our building blocks or our bondage. Don't' let their memories become baggage-Dont let their deaths become stones in your heart. May their stories become wings that lifts you higher, lights that guide you deeper, and anchors that keep you steadfast, uncompromising, and forever challenged to run this race with perseverance and passion.
May their memories forever compel us to live looking up, and love reaching out.
When you think about them, I pray Jesus would flood the missing spaces with peace, fill your heart with joy, and fuel your life with a passion for PURPOSE.
As always, I end with the question Tiffany left behind for us: What am I going to do with this ONE and ONLY Life…that I've been given.
-For Heavens cause,
