Within the endless deserts, the Bedouin people have learnt to become one with the land. Surrounded by a ring of frequently unstable countries, Jordan remains an oasis; a land of openness and freedom, which is both appreciated and re-enforced by its people.
The immensity of Wadi Rum in the south is truly humbling, as are the carved buildings and facades of Petra… and although quite heavily reliant on tourism, the Jordanian people have retained a strong cultural link from their past, understanding the importance of how it shapes their values towards one another as well as the landscape in which they all live.
