This is the demo reel I worked on during the last months at Vancouver Film school in the 3D Animation and Visual effects program.
For it, I did sculpted hard surface in Zbrush, by using Zremesh tool, Panel Loops and Polygroups. Got to admit I had lots of fun with these tools. Later on, I took every piece into Maya and used procedural textures. For more detailed shots I did some Mudbox painting.
I spent 5 months for the design of the space station and the character.
