Conduct Multi-Site Clinical Trials Through the Trial Innovation Network

In December 2020, Christopher Palma, MD, joined a large, national clinical trial testing immune modulator drugs in COVID patients--an opportunity he attributes to the UR CTSI and its connection to the Trial Innovation Network (TIN). A collaborative initiative within the Clinical and Translational Science Awards Program, the TIN connects CTSA Program hubs (like the UR CTSI) nationwide to leverage their expertise and resources to conduct large, multi-site clinical trials.
