I'm always humbled when I get to inspire other people as an artist. For my digital matte painting, Monolith City, that I created for last year's d'Artiste book, Hassan Qadir created this short but beautiful atmospheric piece. I've just briefly met on Facebook a few months ago, and he lives far on the other side of the world in Pakistan. I love the power of the Internet and how it enables so many people to easily connect like this around the world.

This piece is what he envisioned what it would be like if you were flying through this environment blissfully in the sky, slowly reaching into the city from high above. He is currently the lead sound designer at his studio, Agnitus.

Please take a moment and listen to his track here vimeo.com/85702637, which features some sweet melodies and synth instruments. I actually had it on repeat for a bit because it was so soothing and great to see this environment in a different light. His creation in turns, inspires myself to be be a better artist, and to also some day create a few more angles of this city, perhaps in a short film flying in the air...some day! (I could also imagine hearing this melody in an awesome EDM song too).

Please let him know what you think here, and thanks Hassan for the wonderful creation!
