Dr. Raj Chetty is the William Henry Bloomberg Professor of Economics at Harvard University and a witness for the Plaintiffs in the education equality lawsuit Vergara v. California. Dr. Chetty’s research combines empirical evidence and economic theory to help design more effective government policies. Dr. Chetty was recently awarded a MacArthur “Genius” Fellowship and the John Bates Clark medal, which is given by the American Economic Association to the best American economist under the age of 40.
