Lisa & Ben came home to the rolling wild-ness of the Wairarapa, in New Zealand's North Island, to get hitched in true country style with a fairly healthy dose of quirkiness. In fact they didn't just get married in their home-town, but in the grounds of their old school, in a magnificently run-down Shakespearean outdoor theatre (complete with pond, falling down pillars, and ivy covered old stone-work). This place was EPIC. Post-ceremony they kicked into an immaculately curated picnic-basket reception featuring lawn games, live old-school jazz, and a surprise visit from an ancient Mr Whippy ice-cream truck. Throw in a juke-box first dance, a bubble machine going wild, and a 'smores-instructional' marshmallow roasting finale and you've got everything you never expected from a kickass wedding in the country to die for!
