During a peaceful protest against the nudity ban on its 1-year anniversary a young black man (Gameli Anumu) gets brutalized by the SFPD for not putting his clothes on in 5 minutes. 3 other body freedom activists (George Davis, Jaymz Smith and Gypsy Taub) also get arrested. None of us were given a chance to sign citations or show IDs. During a protest we are protected by the 1 st amendment, but the Chief of Police Greg Suhr doesn't believe in constitutional rights nor in human rights period.
This is how the SFPD celebrated the National Freedom Day ( the day when Abraham Lincoln signed the anti-slavery bill that later became the 13th amendment to the US Constitution) - brutalizing the only man of color at a peaceful protest.
