Weather-based irrigation technology uses evapotranspiration data to calculate irrigation system run times and has shown 30-40% water savings when compared to time-based scheduling. While widely used for urban landscapes, ET-based irrigation is not commonly associated with agriculture. This video discusses three methods for applying ET in irrigation scheduling for agriculture.
