Stop, Collaborate and Celebrate was a partnership networking event delivered by Cultural Enterprise Office and Creative Dundee. The event took place on Thursday 19 December 2013 in Dundee. The event invited creatives to leave the studio behind for one night and come together to share, connect and indulge in collaboration. As a partner in the Open Innovation Project, Cultural Enterprise Office joined forces with Creative Dundee to showcase and explore how collaborating and innovating with partners by sharing the risks and rewards unlocks creative businesses' commercial and creative potential via open innovation techniques and practices.
Make Works' own Fi Scott delivered a Pecha Kucha presentation about the 20 factories visited in Scotland to better connect the creative industry with making. Describing themselves as a ‘manufacturing dating service’ the team will launch The Make Works Directory in 2014 which draws on their Make Works Tour and documents the collaboration process between designers and manufacturers from the tour’s residency programme.
