Direction, production and montage by © Cristián Aguirre Fotografía.
Most of the shots I did were as a Free Lance Photographer during a 3-month trip climbing through the Alps and Pyrenees. Northern Italy, Southern Switzerland and Eastern Spain were the main places I captured.
The majority of the photographs that I captured I took when I was alone but was accompanied when taking the rest. I spent one of the best days of my life there, virtually alone, during long hours in the wild. This was a moment to think, wait, observe, and study the processes of the light and sun, movements of the moon, and the Milky Way. I am very grateful about this dream coming true.
It took me about three months to develop and compile the Time-lapse sequences. Each clip is a raw image sequence (6016x4016). I rendered out as 1920x1080, 25 fps, Quick Time Movie. All shots were made on the Nikon D600 camera (Lens: Nikon Fx, 16-35 f4, 70'200 f2.8, 50 f1.8).
I invite you to watch the video in HD, turn the volume up and enjoy the experience!
As this is my second Time-Lapse Photography proyect, I will continue to improve upon my technique and fine-tune my skills.
For me, Time-Lapse is the perfect fusion between photography and video, because it displays the passing of time in a very artistic way.
