Then Council ratified Committee recommendations on Comox Dog Licence Bylaw # 1765, on the Draft Capital Plan and (33 min) on the DARE BC Society request for funding. Council received the Management Report on unfinished business, and Minutes from the Comox Valley Regional District. Council gave first, second and third readings to Comox Dog Licence and Pound Bylaw # 1765. Council received a staff report (starting 35 min) and authorized an open house related to proposed bylaw changes for 1988 Beaufort Avenue. Council received (48 min) the annual referral responses from School Districts # 71 & 97 for information. Council received a letter form Al Gregory regarding poor cell reception at Brooklyn Elementary School. Council members reported (51 min) on their activities since the last meeting.
