The African Diaspora Forum organized a church vigil recently in commemoration of the xenophobic attacks that occurred in May 2008. About 50 Alexandra Township residents came out to the St. Michael Anglican Church in the township where the attacks began to pray, sing and ask for forgiveness. Watch the video to hear what community leaders and members had to say about the violence.
