A 1 minute movie I made for a school project located at the 1e Middellandstraat and the West-Kruiskade in Rotterdam about changing behaviour. I managed to bring people together and detach them from their daily routine with warmth- psychologically and physically. Strangers walk past each other without a smile or confrontation, so I wanted to create moments where we could put our guards down, surrender the shields that we hold up as strangers and just enjoy an unexpected experience, a memorable interruption that can help people see warmth in any day (considering the cold, dreary winter weather that we're going through). I tried to make people feel warm and comfortable enough to open up to me, a stranger.
I used beach balls to keep the warm, summer atmosphere and lighten the mood. I used them as 'conversation balls' as it brought people together and got them talking to me when I'd ask them questions that made them smile.
A special moment that got them to do something or think about something they normally wouldn't. A way of delving into new conversional depths that they normally would not reach with strangers. It can be asier to talk to strangers about their life then with some people they know.
This video got elected for the annual awards show / screening at the WDKA, and got the award for Best Change of Behaviour and Best Special Effect.
Thanks to my friends and family who helped me with creating this ! Its not much but hope it could make you smile
Don't mind this description, have a nice day :)
