HARMONíA. Una ópera comestible.
20th & 21st of July 2012. Nave 16, Matadero Madrid.
Harmony tells the story of a timeless people who rise against the established order in search of new sensations. Scent and taste were used as narrative devices accompanying the conventions of music and stage performance.
Drawing on Charles Fourier's Gastrosophy and his Theory of the Four Movements, Harmony proposes opera as a model for social organisation both in the way it was produced – particularly a non-professional cast and crew – as well as in the fictional space of the set, costumes, music, dance, libretto and edibles.
