Twenty-five years ago the leaders of Randy Pope's rapidly growing church realized they had all benefitted from a personal discipleship relationship, and decided to make personal discipleship their do-or-die aim: applying one person's real life to another's to accomplish something far bigger than that single life. This became what is now known as "Life-on-life missional discipleship" and "Insourcing."
Pope, a graduate of Alabama and RTS Jackson, is the author of four books, husband to Carol, father to four married children, and grandfather of 10. His personal passion is to make and train disciples of Christ. His Life-On-Life Ministries establishes missional discipleship in churches worldwide.
