Author Joseph McBride narrates a video essay depicting the compromised relationship between the mainstream American media and the facts of the JFK assassination. Despite conflicting reports emanating from Dallas in the aftermath of the shooting, network reporting quickly coalesced in support of the developing official story and has since never wavered. McBride examines the institutional biases which inform the presentation of events, and locates the role of U.S. intelligence agencies such as the CIA in the manufacture of "truth".
