Neo New York, a creative, six-day workshop series for students at the Cooper Union in the East Village—exhibition on February 15th.
NEO NY promotes merit-based, free education by providing grants to 30 deserving, international participants to attend creative workshops led by some of New York City's most talented and contemporary artists and art instructors, including Paul Sahre, Maja Cule, K-HOLE, Jake Yuzna, and Alexandra Gorczynski.
The week of hands-on, interdisciplinary workshops are culminating in an EXHIBITION of work produced by participants, open to the public on the final day.
Students from around the world will have immersed themselves in a creative storm with other passionate thinkers in studio collaboration, participation in meaningful presentations, portfolio sharing, and finally exhibiting their final projects from the week.
Neo New York is a not for profit, student organized event. Inspired by experiences at Cooper Union, a merit-based institution, Neo New York was developed to extend this opportunity to other deserving student artists.
