Lilith presents The YES! Association
Privilege Walk/Symposium - Feminist and Intersectional Aspects of Contemporary Art
September 6-7 2008
Lilith Performance Studio invited The YES! Association to do a weekend symposium containing lectures, workshops, film screening and performances.
The YES! Association was founded 2005 in conjunction with the opening of the exhibition Art
Feminism at Dunkers Kulturhus in Helsingborg. At the Press Conference/Performance, the
YES! Association offered institutions to sign an established Equal Opportunities Agreement specifically related to the situation. The YES! Association has since then actively initiated discussions regarding the inequalities in the Swedish art scene, through inventions, exhibitions, panels, articles and radio interviews.
