In a version of the classic "Boy Meets Girl" scenario, the vintage Chevy proves the magnet that pulls the tongue-tied fellow and the dazzling girl-next-door together.
That's the premise of this CineBootCamps' film, 'The Girl'. A lot of Canon HDSLRs are used to film moving vehicles and we wanted to hold a bootcamp to show our students how to rig a car.
So we got one of the best in the business, Dana Christiaansen and grip, TorreySchoerner, to show our CineBootCamps filmmakers how to rig a car shoot using a classic Chevy provided by Harry Agazarian.
Rachel, who plays the girl next door, charms our lead actor, Brady Carl, and her interest in Brady's dad's car sparks Brady's interest in learning to drive it. A Chevy, A girl and A boy. It's America. (Although my father-in-law would have preferred it be a Ford.)
