STORY : PHILIPPINES
"Internationally known Typhoon Haiyan, and locally known Typhoon Yolanda, was an exceptionally powerful tropical cyclone that devastated portions of Southeast Asia, particularly the Philippines. On November 8, 2013, the Philippine islands experienced the deadliest typhoon to date. At least 6,201 people lost their lives in the Philippines alone. Haiyan is also the strongest storm recorded at landfall, and unofficially the strongest typhoon ever recorded in terms of wind speed. As of January, 2014, bodies are still being found."
Read. Closed the page. Moved on with your life. Why would you make it your problem? Yes. Millions of people lost their homes. Thousands of people lost their family members and friends. Now what? I can't help them. Yet for some unknown reason we got on the plane, took off to the Philippines and decided to make that problem "ours". We went to Philippines with one mission – document the aftermath of the tragedy, and share the story with you in hopes that someone out there would like to join and help those less privileged people in Philippines. What we were able to do is make that message known to you, but now it’s up to you to decide if you want to join the cause. It’s amazing what can be done when two or three come together. Now I am asking you to join me in this and help those that are helpless, broken and hurting.
We are partnering with non-profit "Power in Truth" to bring help to Philippines. Below is the link to the Official donate page. Thank you for your consideration!
