Jeong-hee, a butcher who runs a meat shop at meat market, suffers from her gambling-addict husband’s abuse. One day, when she runs from the husband, other women at the meat market help her and teach her how to be stronger.
Violence provokes violence. There is neither justice, nor evil in it. Violence toward a human being is bound to return to the perpetrator. The extreme violence of “battered wives” is the same. Are they victims? Murderers? Or survivors?
