The Rev. Michael “Corky” Carlisle, currently the interim rector of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Auburn, AL, is a nationally recognized stewardship educator and sought after speaker. Corky has served parishes in England, Texas, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi and Alabama. Corky has been involved in the Church Development Institute through General Seminary and also the Ecumenical Stewardship Center. Corky Carlisle embodies this transformative giving and brings years of parish experience to bear in his teaching and witness on the power and blessing of stewardship. His no non-sense attitude and the power of the example of his own stewardship have made him much sought after for programs and consulting in the area of stewardship. This former missionary to Kenya is credited with tripling the giving in his former parish, St. Peter's, Kentucky in just a decade. However, Corky would be the first to acknowledge the credit is due to someone else. Corky Carlisle led the Rector's Forum on February 9, 2014.
