Stanford University has one of the most successful and longest running comprehensive collegiate recycling programs. Everyone works together on campus to recycle plastics, metal, glass, paper, cardboard, construction debris, yard trimmings, food scraps, and electronics throughout the campus. By using less, recycling, and composting; our community has preserved natural resources, saved energy, conserved water, and reduced greenhouse gas emissions.
Join us in RecycleMania 2014 where we compete nationally with over 300 other universities on who can waste the least and recycle and compost the most. With your help, we can improve our habits to achieve our sustainability goals – and win this competition! We recycle, Stanford Wins! BEAT CAL!
