In this event, the first of the DPU's Dialogues in Development Anniversary Series and the official launch of the DPU's 60th Anniversary activities, representatives of each of the DPU's four research clusters speak on the key problematics that cities and regions are facing today.
The session is in keeping with the guiding theme of many of the Anniversary's activities: Thinking Across Boundaries. From the perspectives of their research clusters, each speaker presents the key issues that they wish to be debated in the year ahead. They also question what kind of boundaries might need to be crossed in order to confront these challenges, and where and how can the potential agency to do so could be found, supported and/or strengthened.
