Canadian Biosphere Regions: National Day for Truth and Reconciliation 2023

Open dialogue, mutual respect, and the potential for meaningful collaboration—these are the guiding principles that shape the work of the Beaver Hills Biosphere and all Canadian biosphere regions (BRs). While the journey ahead is long and filled with learning opportunities, we're optimistic about the steps that can be taken to form meaningful, respectful, and mutually beneficial relationships with Indigenous Nations. It's a vision that we share with all 19 of Canada's biosphere regions, each at different stages of this important journey.
