In this black comedy that takes place in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, Georgie is a semi-employed would-be poet, and a thirty-two year old virgin. His brother, Jerry Boy, is a bookmaker, loan-shark, and all-around tough guy. Georgie has proven to be an embarrassment and possibly even a threat to Jerry's standing in the neighborhood. To remedy this, Jerry pays for Georgie to have his first sexual experience with Oksana, a Ukrainian prostitute. The only problem is, Georgie just wants to talk, play cards and read poetry to her. Needless to say, Jerry Boy has a little bit of a problem with this...
