Africa's first 3D printer created from recycled parts comes from Woelab based in Togo, West Africa. inventors there recently unveiled, a 3-D printer made from discarded electronics.
W.Afate (The W is for Woelab), is a replica of the Prusal Mendel, a popular printer in the United States and Europe, with one big difference. Instead of using parts purchased in stores, the W.Afate is constructed from discarded electronic waste.
