What happens when old cemeteries fall on hard times? Mt. Zion, located in East Los Angeles, is the second oldest Jewish cemetery in the region. By 2013, it was the victim of vandalism, earthquakes, and time. After an article about the cemetery appeared in the L.A. Times, it was rediscovered by Rabbi Moshe Greenwald. His involvement marks the beginning of a new chapter in the life of an old cemetery.
