A detailed display of detailed records, letters and diaries, and one descendant’s research played a major part to the Tennessee State Museum opening a groundbreaking exhibition about the lives of Slaves and Slaveholders who lived and worked at the 13, 000 acre Wessyngton Plantation in Robertson County prior to the Civil War. John F. Baker Jr., is responsible for collecting and exposing this window of history.
