James Gadson is known as the most recorded R&B Drummer in the business. He joins Dan to talk about playing with the Temptations in the 70's to Paul McCartney in 2005 and experiences in-between. Dan asks James what he thinks is the definition of R&B music today vs. back in the "old days," and James talks about the importance of learning to read music and takes us into his control room where he has a Motown board he bought from Smokey Robinson and a 16-track tape machine he got from Marvin Gaye.
