"A Livin' Man" is a modern adaptation of Robert Enrico's award-winning film from 1962, "La Riviere du Hibou." "La Riviere du Hibou" was based on Ambrose Bierce's short story, "An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge" which was first published in 1890. The production of this low-to-no budget, independent film was inspired by a love for the original and true artistic purpose of cinema: Storytelling. Robert Enrico's film served as Episode 22 in the 5th Season of "The Twilight Zone." And our film serves as a tribute to Ambrose Bierce, Robert Enrico, Henri Lanoe, Kenny Clarke, "The Twilight Zone," and film enthusiasts everywhere.
