Another experiment in macro lens animation, manipulating flakes of oil paint pigment with toothpicks suspended in linseed oil in a stainless steel bowl. The whole "frame" is about 1 cm x 1 cm (less than an inch square - maybe about the size of a Canadian dime). My association with Animation Playground Collective is, once again, greatly appreciated with shout-outs to Grayden Laing and Nicole Hewat. Also, I suspect influences from a visit to the Carter Observatory in Wellington, New Zealand and the fantastic/enthusiastic astronomer, Haritina Mogosanu ... I've been thinking 'deep space' and 'Hubble telescope photos' a lot since returning.
