Dave Aeri, Chief Technology Officer of Nine Zero Five was the principal driving force, lead creator and concept architect for North America's Largest Multi-Touch, Multi-user Retail Shopping platform designed exclusively for Canada's largest retailer, Canadian Tire.
Dave Aeri was hand picked by Eugene Roman the Chief Technology Officer of Canadian Tire to design and deliver a never before seen IT presence that would "wow" the Canadian Tire dealer community. Dave not only lead the overall design of the booth and the booth experience, he also formulated the concept and created ( with the assistance of strategic partners such as Nytric, Baanto, Lenovo, CVS, Samsung ) this piece of retail technology that could be implemented into all Canadian Tire stores across the country.
In this video Dave talks about the importance of product data and how it impacts and influences a customers decision while shopping. Dave also talks about how any shopper regardless of age demographic could have a fully immersive shopping experience when interacting with the wall.
Dave's long term strategy for the wall was monetize and grow the experience. This would include kicking off pop up stores in places such as Shopping malls like Yorkdale Shopping Center, Union Station, Square one and Dundas Square. Shoppers could conceptually make purchases and either pick them up at a local Canadian Tire store or have them drop shipped to their home.
Dave also considered the initial burden cost to implement. The cost's to build and implement these shopping platforms could be offset by the advertising space sold to product manufactures who would like to run commercials when the wall is in static mode.
This project was a full 360 degree solution that could be a game changer for Canada's Largest retailer. Canadian Tire.
Strategic Partners who largely contributed to the success of this project are : Nytric, Baanto, Lenovo, CVS and Samsung.
