S-S-Spaces is a performance derived from the book 'Species of Spaces’ (1974) by French author Georges Perec. Perec used the term infraordinary to describe the ordinary and habitual aspects of everyday life. He dissected the complex details of the everyday, transforming common objects, places and the world we created around them.
The internet was a new space that was created after Perec and it is an important space today that virtually created a world beyond the physical one. Tasks and drawings were created using techniques and language used by architects to measure space, to identify or plan space. The tasks were meant to give the audience a taste of the performance before the night, whilst sharing the artistic process and place the audience into a similar mind set.
