Virginia Tanji, Health Sciences Librarian at the University of Hawai`i John A. Burns School of Medicine, was Chair of the Board of Regents of the National Library of Medicine when a new exhibit, Native Peoples' Concepts of Health and Illness, opened in late 2011. She and Dr. Marjorie Mau, professor in the UH Department of Native Hawaiian Health, explain why the exhibit is worth a visit, in Washington, DC, or on line.
