Birth Announcement Music Debuts in the Hallways of UCHealth Greeley Hospital

"A First Breath: Welcome to the World,” a 20-second song composed for UCHealth Greeley Hospital will be played through the hallways whenever a baby is born at the Birth Center. It was composed by Dylan Fixmer, the composer-in-residence with the Greeley Philharmonic orchestra. Violinist Sarah Off and cellist Mathieu D’Ordine, the musicians who recorded the song, performed the lullaby for hospital staff Sept. 20 shortly before it was aired overhead for the first time.
