For those with lack of understanding VIDEO EXPLAINED. Sorry for those who get it.
For those who write stories for the movies and for those who direct, a lesson of how not to do it...
Scene 1 Multiple Pun to single pun:
Boar (shows a picture of a Boar)
Ding (shows a picture of a hotel desk bell)
Together it spells BOARDING (the intended single pun)
Scene 2 Fall (the season) Vs Fall (the accident):
TITLE---First comes the winter, then comes the fall... (The snowboarder falls on this scene)
Scene 3 TITLE --"Moving obstacles and slippery situations"
(setting up the viewer to the implied analogy of life - snowboarding)
Scene 4 TITLE --"Life's perfect analogy, eventually you fall":
SNOWBOARDING - (show upside-down boarder sliding)
Scene 5 Shows an awkward foot stance of snowboarder (in an slow motion scene)
To emphasize awkwardness in front of slippery situations
Scene 6 almost falling:
Shows snowboarder almost loosing control and hesitating, but not falling, then the music says in german: TITLE-- "Sure Mr Commissioner!" Reinforcing that all is alright.
Scene 7 All weird scenes:
Show the boarder breathing heavily as it was tiring to do his thing. Boarder making weird faces and going around obstacles.
Scene 8 in German: According to the song-- The snow helps us all go downhill (reinforcing the general analogy but in German)
Scene 9 in English : The english translation for the song: TITLE -- "They are all slipping into the same snow" alluding to the fact that in life we all end up at the bottom.
Scene 10: An ASS being shown from the bottom of a snowboard and going backwards in time- (I am not sure how you will show this but I am only a script writer not a cinematographer - so it's your problem) To give the viwer the idea that even an a**hole will look back in time and realize that they could change.
Scene 11 the final analogy with the statement:
TITLE--"After 40 its all downhill" (shows the snowboarder going downhill from a high angle)
TITLE--"Embrace it by learning how..."
Scene 12 Time the music so the statement TITLE-- "Alles klar, herr kommissar..." comes right after the final analogy.
The phrase is telling again in German "Sure -- to authority figures."
Scene 13 A compilation of scenes of the same snowboarder... ( your chance to have fun with it... you wont have another -- I want nothing to do with the unlucky 13th)
Scene 14: Close with the snowboarder coming to a stop with girls around him...
Representing heaven... Any guy would get it... girls wont get this one unless they are gay...
Scene 15: Let the music end, add a slow motion scene of the snowboarder doing his thing - fades to black
THE END (you don't need to title this its going to be obvious)
IMPORTANT: Use transitions to make it look like it is the eighties.
ATTENTION: This video is a tribute to the song. This is not a commercial video. I do not own the rights to the song and do not know who owns the rights to the song. I tried finding out but was unsuccessful. If you, indeed own the rights to this song, and don't like the tribute, let us know and I take it down... Perhaps people will hear it here and buy this song.... Or you can tell me who owns this and let me know so I can see if it is worth having this video up at all.. Thanks
