The audience is allowed to smell the models.
Peter de Cupere calls his performances with scents 'Perfumances'
This Perfumance is a reference to his first coloured scent perfumance 'Black Beauty Perfumance' in 1999 in Antwerp and in 2000 in Amsterdam. In the Black Beauty Perfumance the models wear black cat suits and the artist cuts holes in the cat suits. Afterwards he perfumes the naked skin with a special black perfume.
